AURA isn’t a place you’ll see a big road sign outside of any time soon…tucked behind Blue Mile Catering is one of the newest additions to Statesboro’s cocktail scene. AURA is a small venue, with a cozy interior and low lighting. The decor and theming produces an intimate atmosphere, making AURA the perfect place to catch up with a friend over a quality, craft beverage. While their expert staff is happy to fix up any classic cocktail, their menu features a variety of themed, original beverages, that will have your mouth watering. “Sage Advice”, “Found Vintage” & “Closing Statement” are a few examples of their house cocktails.

Nothing goes better with a cocktail like the perfect bite! AURA also offers a wide array of small plates, ranging from the classic bar offering of mixed nuts to more intricate dishes like marinated shrimp rolls and steak with chimichurri. They seem to always have a seasonal special on hand as well!

One of the most fascinating things about AURA is it’s lack of promotion. The only indicator of what hides behind Blue Mile Catering is a solitary A over a rather nondescript door. Reservations are expected & a code is required to gain entry to the venue, which is texted to you after making your reservation. AURA conjures images of a speak easy- a welcome addition to Statesboro’s repertoire of bars & restaurants.
